How are taxes handled for income earned through PayPerShowing?
We track all your income throughout the year and will send you either a 1099-MISC or 1099-k at the end of the year for your taxes.
Can I still work at my real estate Brokerage?
Yes, PayPerShowing Users and PayPerShowing Assistants DO NOT ACT as agents, apparent agents, ostensible agents, partners, contractors, or employees of PayPerShowing.
Is there a monthly fee or any costs associated with with joining PayPerShowing as a Showing Assistant?
No, it’s free.
What if the buyer doesn’t show up at the set time?
You are required to remain at the property for the entire duration requested by the PayPerShowing User (typically 30 minutes), unless informed otherwise. Ensure punctuality and maintain availability throughout the scheduled showing.
How does PayPerShowing ensure the security and privacy of its users?
User safety is our top priority. Each user that books a showing, goes through a identity verification check. Please report any problems you encounter.
How are showing assignments assigned to agents?
Showing assignments are distributed through our platform based on your availability, location, and preferences.
Can I solicit buyers for my own real estate services?
No, Showing Assistants are not allowed to solicit buyers for their own services during showings. Our goal is to provide a no-pressure experience for buyers.
What if a buyer wants to make an offer on a property I showed them?
If a buyer expresses interest in making an offer, please advise them to relay their interest to PayPerShowing. We will guide through their options. They can continue working with their existing agent, work with the listing agent of the property, or choose you!
What should I do if I'm unable to make a scheduled showing?
If you are unable to attend a scheduled showing, notify us immediately through the platform so we can reassign the showing to another Showing Assistant. Please provide as much notice as possible to avoid inconveniencing the buyer.
Is there a limit to the number of showings I can conduct in a day?
No, you can show as many homes as you can fit in.
What if the buyer contacts me for additional services after our showing completes?
Most buyers in our system have already signed Buyer Agency Agreements with their Real Estate agents. If a buyer contacts you after our showing, ask if they are working with an agent and if they have signed a Buyer Agency Agreement.
Are there a minimum number of showings I must perform?
No.
